You literally never are a called target because all someone has to do is hit you once and you gate or run half across the zone to reapply a rune that took 10 dmg...Letsjoe on the other hand has some bigger balls and tends to stick around.

You apply shit for pressure and can channel pells in your face w zero chance of dieing.
