There has been recent chatter about the over abundance of clerics while grouping and leveling with a desperate lack of tank classes. Food for thought
I've got a Blue warrior and rogue. I'm melee'd out at this point! Only melee I'd consider rolling on Red would probably be ranger.

Hell yes, I didn't realize Red had fringe benefits!

Make a cleric, I have an enchanter. You can heal me and my pet, and when we get PVP we can both gate and call it a victory.

Everyone wants to have a cleric, but very few want to play a cleric on red. Most of those clerics leveling will likely just be someone's rez/buff bot.

Support classes are tough b/c you cant really do much other than survive when people attack you at the bank or while running to meet a group, which seems to happen more than group v group, but it is fun when you have the group stuff happen.

I saw virtually no enchanters last month, but it always changes.

Every class has its PvP strats, im gona do my best to translate that into something that makes some semblance of sense and doesn't totally make everyone throw their glass of milk in the air as they start responding with rage filled posts about how wrong I am about their favorite class.

Paladin - Defender, Midfielder - can last a very long time in pvp, can give clutch CH's to the striker of their squad.
Shadow Knight- Midfielder, Striker - Can get YT's, does good damage, goes for HT kills & can beat someone. (though now that Im thinking, is a SK dps that much better than a paladin? I assumed it had to be, but without considering HarmTouch is it?)
Ranger - Midfielder - Decnet DPS, tracking, & the ever rare bow make them strong additions to a kill force, but that ever rare bow is rare as ever.
Rogue - Striker - This class is all about walking up to a group and killing as much if not all of it. Get those Backstabs in and get YT's.
Monk - Striker, Midfielder - Not as efficent as a rogue for demolishing a group, but in the right hands can be a very devastating opponent. Can grind through proponents quickly.
Warrior - Tank, Midfielder - This class when geared properly just muscles his way around doing as much DPS as it can, grinding down forces, taking hits and resisting nukes.
Cleric - Defender - Heals & Heals - support stuns etc, a higher priority target than a paladin, but still able to stay alive with immunity spells and quick thinking
Druid - Hunter, Striker, Defender - This class is a PVP jack of all trades, can deal burst dps that can burn you down, can run hide and heal to regroup, can port to hunt.
Shaman - Defender, Midfielder - Shaman is a suport heavy class, you buff A LOT, so much so that you dont usualy have mana in group situations to actually be able to DPS, but in solo situations is able to tank and grind down HPS making them great in groups, and decent solo.
Enchanter - Stunner - Great for Debuffing and locking people so maximum dps on a target.
Mage - Midfielder - Pet can be a nuisance and unless fighting good pvpers can deal some good damage. Able to be countered if a good pvper is in range or at the ready.
Necromancer - Midfielder, Defender - Simmilar to mage, but a wider range of utility abilities make them buffers & healers in sticky situations.
Wizard - Midfielder, Hunter - Great at DPS from hidden locations, puts them less at the front lines, but still picking & choosing who they want to kill.
Bard - Attacker, Midfielder - for obvious reasons the bard is valuble in any group, but out in open areas they are able to hunt and kill, alone in doors and they will prob not last long.

This is just my opinion, and my opinion is not set in stone, I Could be right and I could be wrong about any of this! So don't hate me because of that, hate me because I am beautiful IRL
