there are WAY too many halflings on p99, it is the #1 or #2 most played race

there are almost NO other short races gnomes or dwarves which makes me sad

One of the key features that makes this server :classic: is the absence of gnome & halfling hybrids. Hybrids from races that never had to endure the foolishness of EQ class XP penalties are just fading nightmares from the dreamtime that bedevilled us during our years wandering the wilderness.

Let the shorties rail with all their fury and bluster against their sad fate, it yet remains true that they are simply not cool enough to be hybrids. Amongst them only the dwarves mastered the barrel-roll and were thereafter granted special dispensation to become paladins, although to this day that is viewed as an error and a blasphemy that sets the teeth of every true purist on edge.
