prob my fave boxer of all time

undeniable talent, did the whole egotistical villain thing but unlike mayweather was actually fun as hell to watch

mayweather is just a boring points fighter
Naseem was a can and fought cans. Watching Barrera tool him is still one of my fav fights to watch.

Since they were in Vegas, they should have had Pacquiao and Mayweather married before the fight. Would have guaranteed a more explosive fight.

fight was boring as shit.

boxing is deader than dead. Nothing left but a media hype machine that milks the desperation of fans every few years, just like 99% of the big-budget circus in this dying culture.

Was the first fight I ever seen of him actually. Watching his pride melt those last few rounds was delicious though. Barrera is on another level, when Naz couldn't dance and clown his way to victory, he lost not only the fight but all his confidence and then he retired.

Was that the guy who was so far ahead in points he could afford to pick Hamed up and bear hug him into the corner? I lol'd for a good while on that.

Yep, in the last round barerra put him in a half Nelson and pushes him into a corner. He lost a point for it but won every round before that so it hardly mattered.

Here are some good highlights of the fight:

The grappling happens at 10:25 roughly.

Nice, thanks for linking that... laughed some more at it.

Naseem Hamed did a Ricky Hatton (or vice versa) after retiring... more of a heavyweight these days [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Not claiming to be one. I just said I thought he was can that fought cans when someone else mentioned him. Other than that I have just been responding to people quoting me.

Following a thread was a little too tough for you, bruh?
