NASA's Little Secret

So I have still been trying to watch these videos a chunk at a time. I'm about 2/3 of the way through the first NASAchannel video that was linked in Scrooge's OP. I have to admit, even compared to most other conspiracy theorists, this guy comes off as extremely insane. So I decided to give my synopsis of what I've watched so far (approximately 2 1/2 hours of video) for those that are asking honest questions but receiving no answer other than "watch the video...so closed minded".

Rarely is a train of thought completed. Nothing greater than purely anecdotal evidence is discussed. He keeps rambling on about how we can be sure that the earth is I deed flat because of the threat of global war. What? How does that equal a flat earth? He believes that the un flag represents the true shape of the earth, and that the meridian grid ( he doesn't even know what to call it) represents the rotation of the sun and moon around the flat earth.
But, he also believes that the earth is forever growing and expanding in all directions. He believes that the explanation for this is that the governments dont want anyone going to the south pole, so obviously the south pole is a ring of ice that encircles the perimeter of the world we are allowed to traverse, but that there is an infinite amount of land beyond the ice wall. How an ever expanding flat earth can continue to receive light from a the description of the orbit of the sun and moon that is given is not explained. But, the governments dont want people trekking across the south pole,so it must be true.
To top it all off,he believes that the governments are building an artificially intelligent android army through the use of data mining all of our communications. This will all be revealed, according to him, once a foreign power such as China or Russia is allowed to take over the United States and absorb the technology without having to be restrained by the constitution and human rights. Then they will be able to unleash their super intelligent android army and wreak havoc on humanity. All the while the government officials will be safe in their D.U.M.B's (Deep Underground Military Bases). Why? Well you guessed it, because the earth is flat and they don't want you to know about all the available land. Somehow knowing that the earth is flat is supposed to reverse the position of power and throw the world from the chaos that it is in currently to a virtual utopia. How? I do not know, no explanation is even remotely given for that. At least not yet. I would love to hear it though.
No. I am not making this up. These are all ideas put forward by him in these videos. None of it has any coherence, none of it is presented through any kind of documentation, none of it has been backed up by any actual evidence of a flat earth. The continual argument that is repeated over and over and over is that NASA shows you pictures of the earth that are not real, the U.N. Flag is the actual for real flat earth map, people used to believe that the earth was flat, and you have never actually seen through your own eyes a spheroid earth. That's pretty much it. All of that proves that the earth is flat. That's all it takes.
I'm sure the response will be that I watched with a closed mind, which I didn't or I wouldn't have even bothered watching. Or that I just don't want to believe, which is true, I don't jump at the chance to believe anything without sufficient proof. Especially when it runs completely contrary to what I have been convinced of my whole life.

ain't no one got time for watching 10 hours worth of conspiracy theory videos. if your goal is indeed to convince us, scrooge, it would be to your benefit to give us a detailed cliff's notes version.

For those of you who really want detailed information with graphic representation, there's really no need to watch 10 hours of anything, the Flat Earth Clues series' vids are 10min each. I think Rararboker said it well enough in his last post, if you still have as much doubt in this content, after watching this series, as you had before, then there's really not much else I can say.

I only suggested the videos in the first place, because they can explain the answers to all your questions in much better detail than I can, I'm not the author or the narrator of these videos.

If you watched the videos all those questions are covered because, if he didn't, it would be a huge hole in his whole outlook and make it pretty hard to listen to any of it. Asking the questions here, with a tone of derision no less, just shows you didn't take the time to listen to any of it. Makes you look like you have a close minded outlook, like a catholic.

They even talk about how/why it is covered up. People at NASA actually do believe in what they are doing. They are just so compartmentalized that there is no way for them to ever realize they are basically wasting their time playing with simulators.

The main reason for a cover-up is the implications. If we aren't a planet in a nearly infinite universe then we are actually far more important than previously thought. If we are one planet out of billions in the galaxy out of billions of galaxies then we aren't that important. Just the random offshoot of evolution.

Seriously, watch his videos. Just keep a skeptical mind and realize it is a theory. Your not going to be brainwashed by taking the time to watch a few 10min videos.

Edit: Also, more interesting, is the assertion that most of the early attempts at space exploration weren't really for space exploration. They were made to look that way but had nuclear payloads and were fired directly upward at the "glass ceiling" out of panic. The government didn't know what they were dealing with and decided to try and break it in order to get out. Which didn't work and only caused further panic.

You're talking about that interview with Math Boylan? It's not even close to being one of the best videos I've posted in this thread, it's more of an introduction but there are way better videos where he compares his work for NASA, between photos and paintings, and makes the audience guess which one is which. You'd be quite surprised how many people cannot tell the difference, even when shown the photos/paintings in person!

Watch the Flat Earth Clues series like I've been suggesting these past few days, before you pass judgement! Cause it sounds to me like you're just watching everything BUT the content I recommend, and think that's all there is to it.

The interview video I have watched, but that's not the one I'm talking about. I'm talking about the first YouTube link at the bottom of your op. I believe its called "This crazy notion" or something like that. It was a video that you posted. The only reason I even watched it was because I actually was interested in what was in the video. From my experience even if the idea is kind of crazy, and even if I don't agree with the theory, there are a lot of times some pretty interesting factoids presented. I was genuinely hoping to find this. I was severely disappointed. There were no interesting factoids. There was nothing informative about any of it for me. I already knew all of the things that he says about NASA and the fake pictures from the Apollo missions. I already had figured out that most of the images we see that are supposed to be from space are possibly generated images. But none of that proves that the earth is flat. I may watch more of the videos, I don't know, after 2 1/2 hours of videos that YOU linked I see nothing but a very creative crazy person. My Synopsys wasn't an exaggeration of the video or his ideas. I was being completely truthful about what he says. Maybe you don't think he sounds like a person off his meds, but I do. I have no interest in watching any more videos that you link just because you feel they have definitive proof of a flat earth. Supposed that's what the videos in you op were supposed to prove. I'll watch them for my own entertainment, when I feel like it. Maybe since you have watched them and feel so strongly that they are factual, you could tell us all about the most compelling evidence for the theory. Give us a breakdown.
