Yes its pretty common, for like 3h+ camp they will drop about 3x.

I spent hours and hours farming idol of the thorned on live, and can confirm from my experience that the circlet while maybe the "rare" drop was more like uncommon. I would say whip would be 50%, Circlet 45%, and the gauntlets 5%. In all the time I spent there I never saw the gaunts.

I also spent about 8 hours farming the chief rokgus area yesterday and the bodyguard spawns seem too rare. On live I killed only the goblins on the chief platform plus the roamer and would usually see 2-3 bodyguards during an 8 hour stint. Here I killed EVERYTHING in the chief area before the ramp leading out and I only saw one.

I am pretty sure the bodyguard can spawn in the place of any static spawn that cons light blue to a level 50, quite possibly with a higher percentage as one of the two near Rokgus or in the soothsayer area. I did a tour of droga on the test server and didn't see any bodyguards up at all.

As for the Chief drops, during my session I got 2 essence of dol, 3 stickers, 2 idol of the thorned, and zero lockets. This isn't exactly a huge sample size, but the locket should be more common than the idol until it is removed. The idol may be tuned to be too high. The chief spawn itself was never particularly rare, it was getting the idol of the thorned that took awhile, I would peg it at 5% droprate.

Pending update:

-Bodyguard will be slightly more common.
-whip and circlet will be significantly more common than the gloves.
*edit- also made the goblin bodyguard cast shadowknight spells.

The Locket isn't currently dropping. Looking for some more opinions about its rarity compared to idol and essence. Links/quotes would be useful, and possibly worthy of another thread.
