considering its a static server and a pretty key item for SKs and Necros you can pretty much guarantee its going up in price (not down). they are lore. most folks with the exception of those who intentionally hoarded them, have one on the toon that they need it for.

there are obviously tons of them out there. there is time once velious launches to camp or hoard more...but once they are gone it will be a total seller's market.

they aren't going to be AoN prices, but I wouldn't be surprised that they jump to 10-15k in the first year after they leave the game. even that stupid pre-nerf branch twig stick thing now sells at stupid prices.

CoS is the best item in game . Without it you might as well quit your SK / necro. Its that important. It make even 10 holgresh elder beads look like A bunch of lolly pops.


Having that said, any new SK will after nerf gladly pay everything he owns to get one. 10k or 100k depending on supply, the price is irrelevant to him.


If the starting price is as it looks now 10k after nerf (which is probable since ppl pay 4-5k today), given that population increase steadily, price will most likely keep go up from there, but due to huge supply it might take years.

Meh, i never had one on Live and did just fine without it being #3 nec on my server before i quit.

Fact remains, A CoS to any leveling 1-60 SK / nec is A huge game breaker - A must have. Platinum is irrelevant really, to the true needers. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] its alot of discussion of the supply here, but ppl must realise the demand will be max for every new SK / necro entering the server. Draw A supply/demand diagram long term after nerf including population growth and it obviously makes sense why noone wants to sell today - hell even the farmers dont wish to sell but they stack them up in bank. Those farmers that sell get bought out very quickly in tunnel, not by true needers but by investors. It might take years before the SK/necro growth catch up though but its not big enough reason for price to drop, so forget about 1.5k, it aint gonna happen ---- ever.
