The only way it would work is for the officers to make the decisions and agreements. at this point there is so much bad blood with the leaders that nothing could be worked out otherwise. so yes a council would be the best way to do it but unless most of the guild leaders are willing to pull there heads out of there asses to initially set this up its like beating a dead horse.

that's what has to happen unless you want no dragon pvp and server to die eventually, its really not hard for 5 grown middle aged men to come to an agreement on forming a new guild with standards everyone agrees upon..jesus

It does not have to happen. We are proving it, and if you are playing you will see it. <Fresh> has been engaged in mass pvp with holocaust, and won with increasing frequency. More mobs have been sniped uncontested because Az/Holo are fighting in some spot leaving mobs up for <Fresh>, <Curse>, and even <Friends> or because Holo/Fresh is fighting one of the other guilds gets one. The dynamic is changing and all it has taken is some dedicated people who are willing to put in the effort.

Per my post on your other thread (jesus how many hate threads do you need?) - out zerg the zerg and you win. Learn to play nice together and bring a raid force of size and you will then people able to contest the spawns and have your fun and all will be well with the world, otherwise... bend the knee, admit defeat and join the zerg.

I'm telling you, I've been through this 4 times where a guild I was in, ULTIMATELY ended up joining the top guild on the server to accomplish stuff. It's the way of EQ and that won't change, 1999 or 2099 - it will always be that way.
