Having played on eqmac and been around Lron's trains many times, I think the reason he was so bad at it was he would usually try to get a big enough train for INSTANT death. And sometimes he would get stunned or die too quickly to get FD off. For example, instead of training 5 mobs onto a group in valor, he would try to train 30.
Personally I loved Lrons trains, when I first moved over and in guildchat you see someone go " OH NO LRON IS IN ZONE!!! ".... was pretty funny. His trolling sometimes was spot on and other times pretty terrible, but overall was a fun addition to the server.
