Bending classic elements is a lot different than introducing elements that were never classic at all. Don't you agree?

Well, in this case we're talking about the complete removal of classic elements. So what is the difference between removing classic elements and adding non classic elements would be the real question.

To me, if it doesn't influence the actual game play it is far less impactful. Not being able to duck a cast influences the game mechanics. Being able to transfer an item to an alt through a shared bank slot does not. Not being able to recharge items is hugely impactful to both the game economy and game play. Having to click sense heading (or in the case of a lot of people, keybind it so it spams chat automatically) instead of glance at a compass does not.

Just very weird and arbitrary sometimes the way they make decisions in regards to classic.

If anything it can be argued that duck casting is more beneficial as a PvP mechanic than pve and recharging would help your guild more than it would help holocaust. Anything else your extra chromosome has to say?
