Confused w all this unamerican gibberish.

I play both, but I enjoy DoTA more. Mainly because characters are vastly different; and have pretty insane mechanics. Not sure which one I would go with "more skillful" to play. I do know that it's really difficult to carry in League(you have to have a decent team); not so much in DoTA (If you are playing a hyper carry, and your team helps a little and creates space. You're golden Ponyboy).

Who wants to coach this blue piece of trash? Haha more seriously, I've found I like Lion and Bounty Hunter the most. Any other suggestions to try out?

My biggest problem so far is figuring out what items to use and that stupid courier

someone told me dota doesnt have skillshots

is this true?

I have played both, though not extensively so my opinion probably isn't that good. I prefer DoTA2 over LoL just because I enjoy the characters and gameplay more. However, I play LoL more often only because I have friends that play on there. I still don't play either that often, but I would prefer DoTA2.

just remember, dota is what made lol...

there are tons of skill shots in dota, for example Pudge's hook

It's my understanding Dota1= LoL. And Dota2 took a more competitive/skill approach? True or false.

Also now we have Hots coming from blizzard wowizing Mobas w like 12 hero selection.

False. Dota 1 is to LoL as EQ is to WoW. Dota 2 is same game as Dota 1 just a couple new items and heroes
