There really hasn't been any neck bearding going on. Psychoactive, myself and a handful of others would contest the spawn but rarely was it sat on indefinitely. Sure there was some days but the spawn was open more likely then not. Not sure what BDA's deal is, they have had it locked down for weeks now. Not sure if they're farming crowns for there members or just locking the market down. Either way not sure why it hasn't been addressed. People were all up in arms about blitzkragg/protocol doing exactly what BDA is essentially doing. Just my two cents

This in a nutshell.

Have I sat at Tranix for days at a time on more than one occasion? Yep.

I run a business and have a wife and kids. I can't afford to put in massive amounts of playtime like some of you. That's why I camped things like Tranix... the fact that I could afk for 6-7 hours between spawns to sleep / work / spend time with my family and still be able to farm the massive amount of plat to afford endgame raiding gear in the hyper-inflated economy on p1999 and experience raiding on some of the classes I never got to try on live.

The difference is I have always been happy to hand over the camp once I got a Crown if someone was waiting for the camp, especially if it was for someone that needed a crown. I shared timers with others on many many occasions. I often logged to alts for raids in between spawns giving plenty of opportunity for others to get the camp. I even helped people kill him when they might have otherwise wiped.

The same BDA monk has been sitting on the spawn and afk for the better part of at least 3 weeks. I check the camp a couple times a day and he's always there. I've seen him afk through numerous tranix spawns. No one does absolutely nothing with any of their characters for weeks on end. I'm left to assume someone is boxing the BDA monk from a computer with a different IP or taking advantage of their ip exemption, but since there's no way for players to prove this he's going to keep getting away with it and monopolizing the best farmable magic resist item on a server that is heavily geared towards raiding.

The environment BDA has created @ Tranix is going to lead to guilds racing to FTE tranix then FD a monk on the spawn point as to claim the camp until the next server reboot (which could be weeks or months). This is idiotic, and personally I think it makes BDA look bad for forcing such nonsense on the rest of the playerbase.

Just because a class can solo a mob with a 100k worth of consumables doesn't mean they should be able to hold a camp FD and AFK for weeks at a time allowing their guild to monopolize said content and prevent the rest of the playerbase access to that content. A serious reconsideration of the rules involving Tranix camp are overdue.
