man.. I would love an Aviak (better start with that model tho and add armor to it, not make a fucking retarded frog and call it a froglok like Sony did) and then make an archer class that plays similar to a bard, but is primarily a single target range/melee version of a Wizard..

/drool

Home city has got to be off of West Karanna tho too!

Yeah, I was thinking the current Aviak model would work. You'd just need to cut the faces out of helms for them. I don't know about the starting town, I was more just talking about adding a race first. I think if we were to add a new town that wouldn't remain classic, whereas popping in a new race (with CLASSIC model) wouldn't really make it less classic.

And I'd love to see an Archer class. I feel like Ranger could be one but it's hard with the arrow usage.

Orcs seem the most logical. Starting city: Greater Blackburrow (Surefall annexed muahahaha HA!).

Out of any race, i'd probably pick a treant. Be hard to do much with visual armor, but would be pretty cool nonetheless

Um Blackburrow = Gnolls, not Orcs; Orcs are like half a continent away.

Personally I vote Aviak.

I've talked to a lot of group members, all of which identified as classic players. And I heard Orc the most. I thought it was pretty cool that people who want EQ to stay classic all seemed to be okay with a non-classic race as long as it was like, the classic model.
