People have so much value on this server exactly because theres no wipes and its not easy to grind. If you didnt spend much effort in this game/server and value not your achievements, just do RMT or look for hacks and you will find wipe.

Probably asking too much at this point, but man a fresh blue server as an alternative to the current blue P99 when Velious is released would be awesome. Would also alleviate a great deal of top-heavy server strain on release, since I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in starting fresh.

But yeah, would need more GMs and developers and such to make something like this happen.

its shouldnt until we have ran through velious and we get the bugs out then restart and play the server like it should have ran

I mean there are going to be bugs when Velious is released no matter what, regardless of how much beta testing is done and how thorough things are. There's no such thing as a bugless Velious launch, but I think the idea is to get the heavy and most obvious shit taken care of so it's not a complete mess.

And in that respect - in an alternate universe where we are offered a fresh blue P99 when Velious goes live - it wouldn't really be absolutely imperative to make sure Velious gets a live test-run on current blue 99 since they would just take down both servers in order to do patches.

This would of course create more downtime being as there would now be another server to look after and make sure is up and running, but man it would be worth it.
