When I was 12, I carved tallies into my desk for every PH kill. I believe it came out to 136. Finally got him, had an existential crisis, quit live that day after 4 years.

holy shit this is almost what happened to me lol... I had been playing since late '99 and it was like GOD/OOW by the time i finally got around to actually attempting my epic sadly (most loot around that time made epics pretty laughable anyway) -- After spending like 3-4 days straight sleeping like 2-3 hours a night, i finally got him, and quit almost immediately after that.. may have been a few days later but i was so done.

And here i am again! Finished my monk's epic and need 1 more piece to Finish my druid epic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] It only took 15+ years
