There's one idea in that thread I really liked. Transfer-based expansions. Being able to play on Classic, having Kunark released after a few months - but having to transfer up to that server, and never being able to transfer back.
I'd enjoy being able to play with people just on the original game for as long as I wanted, and moving on to Kunark at my own pace when I get bored. It would be enough to make me consider joining up. I doubt it'll happen though, at least not for every expansion. That'd be a 25 server investment, or whatever number we're at now.
