The only thing that has changed is that EQEmu Launcher is no longer supported. Just download this patch, and extract the files to your EQ folder.

You can still use the EQEmu launcher to launch your game (just not updated it) by just right clicking the launch button and selecting 'only launch EQ' (something similar to that).

EQEmu logins/accounts still work the same.

Accounts dont get removed due to inactivity. Just make sure your logging on to the correct account when you try and your toons should be there.
