troll is trolling, but actually ranger is a lot of fun pvp, I never enjoyed them before but am giving them a go and having a blast. Hybrids really shine a lot more in pvp with their versatility.

That said, if you go monk, go iksar for regen and AC by far, and also you don't have to fear any casters nuking you to death til 20+ when they actually have mana to do so. If oyu play a priest class you can outheal them and walk up and crush their face mostly... if oyu play a melee you can wreck them... just not enough mana pool to handle pvp low lvl mostly. Melee is most survivable early on by far.

Biggest threats or earliest power comes to shaman and cleric and paladin who can blind. Chain blind will shut down anyone, and then you just have to kill them. Also chain blind will keep PK's off your nuts while you walk away if you want. Snare is another big one, anyone who can snare will have an easier life early on, so troll shaman with necklace, ranger, druid, SK to an extent... makes life easier.

If you want to die less, play a bard or priest imo. If you want to be able to kill people well early on go with a pure caster, but be prepared to be worthless in anything but 1v1 where you start it.

If you want to play a short race play a gnome/Halfling/dwarf rogue I guess, or a stick to wizard, you can always gate.
Dwarf Pally it is!
