With buffs and gear in Verrious you will max STA and STR pretty quick I thinks.

Charisma for Divine Intervention however. 38 CHA on Ogre warriors makes me a sad panda.

Maxing str and dex will be easiest, stamina will come in second and agility will trail in last, but you are talking about sitting up around 230+, high enough to top it off with a potion of greater heat on tough targets.

Potion of greater heat will give you the same 25 stamina without the -20 dex.

All in all, we are well and truly on the cusp of the elusive Velious expansion; with it comes FoS, which stacks with VoG after a month on the timeline.


Sham HP - Becomes Spirit of Focus (which adds dex and str)
Sham buffs:
Str 67 + 68
Dex 60 + 67
Sta +50
Agi + 52

So With Shaman buffed (Str/sta/dex/agi/FoS) to cap 255 I'd need:
120 Str
128 Dex
205 Sta
203 Agi

One month into Velious VoG will stack with FoS so the numbers will look more like:

120 Str
103 Dex
205 Sta
163 Agi


I still haven't settled on weather I like VoG +20 atk or prefer to cap my haste with SoS, so I generally go with SoS because I prefer the monster I can calculate versus the heresay I can't, but at the end of the day what IS glaringly clear is the stat you need to stack is Stamina.

A well geared epic warrior will have dex for days

I know I hit something like 300 dex buffed, so a loss of 20 is whatever. Still capped.

And adroitness gives another stat, I want to say agi but it may be strength - either way, it's useful.

Adroitness is a AGI+STA and -DEX buff. As cucu said, I don't mind the penalty to dex cause that warrior epic, yall.

However, I am interested in the greater potion of heat. How much does it cost for a shaman to make you one? Perhaps it's a cheaper option than adroitness!

It's actually the same cost to the penny as adroitness. You lose 15 str instead of 20 Dex, it's all a matter of how your gear is at the time and what buffs are available to you in the current expansion you are playing in, still though, if they stack like they probably do, 50 sta is nothing to scoff at.

I was about to comment earlier on the stark difference between asking what starting stats to put into a dark elf warrior, and the warrior blue sword procs overcapping your dex, but I thought it wasn't really prevalent to the conversation.

The bottom line still is Dex and Str now (and especially in Velious) will be super easy to over cap, and both potions and general Sta gear are the things to look for when making a dark elf warrior a viable top level raid tank.

Tl;dr stack stamina and buy potions of greater heat and adoritness.
