When velious is released it will either be announced by the server admin/owner of EQEMU (rogean) or the project lead and head dev (nilbog) - not a lowly GM like surcan.

Yeh blues been bad. Server populations a double edged sword. It's great for casual play but terrible when it comes to the servers bottle necks and epic camps.

Got a good laugh tonight listening to someone from A-Team talk about competition with server repops. Mobilizing at 4am on sim repop, can't say I miss those days at all.

If anything, Class C is doing Class R a favor for keeping them from getting pixels so that Class R will have a more classic experience come Velious launch.

Brogean is right, there's literally no efficient way of stopping a serious ddos attack, it's sad that people are so mad and rustled they would do that but hey wutdo

I prefer if we hold out on velious until the end of this year, i want a polished experience, not a gyno exploit bugged mobs and fix bugs after i've already gotten my shit experience (nihilum on red99)

There is a reason companies like Amazon, Google, etc have been taken down. You literally cannot stop a brute force DDoS.
