I jumped on the Combine progression server and played with FoH for a little while til RoI zerged to SoL and then I quit again and havent been back. BUT I WANT BACK I NEED BACK!!! 1 problem I'm what most computer people would call an idiot. I know very little about emulators I pretty much just know how to turn on a PC and hit RUN. I'm in need of some major help getting this task accomplished so please if anyone could help me I would surely appreciate it. I would even PAY for someone to call me and walk me through the set up just so I can feel the the soil of Norrath under my boots one last time. please PM me if you can help.
Ok first and formost, you gotta own everquest for this to be legal, i own everything up to pop personally.

Get bittorrent or utorrent

You can go here : http://kickass.so/everquest-project-...-t7759902.html

Now while its legal to download a copy of a game you own it is NOT ok to share it, so i advise no seeding
If you chose to download
Installation instructions :*
1. Unzip this bad boy to your C drive.*
2. Go inside the folder and find EQGAME.EXE, right click it make a shortcut for your desktop.*It is very critical that you choose EQGAME.EXE instead of EVERQUEST.EXE, because choosing the wrong one will open up the patcher and fuck up your installation.
3. Right click your new desktop shortcut and add patchme to the end of your target box.*It will read something like this :*
"C:/everquest red99/eqgame.exe" patchme

Now go download the latest p1999 patch here: http://www.project1999.com/index.php

Extract the patch into your game directory, a box should pop up if you want to replace about a dozen files (if not you are probably extracting into the wrong spot) click yes replace all files.

You should be up and running at this point.
