People powerleveling is becoming extremely disappointing for someone trying to exp.

I will play the devil's advocate, yes power leveling does speed up your leveling. Would you agree that the slow leveling you hate and are avoiding by power leveling in popular zones is slowing it down even more for people that do not have the resources to power level themselves?

Bummer for them right? I do support a way to prevent power leveling when this server goes custom personally. I also support ways of encouraging grouping more over solo such as larger group xp bonuses such as red has now.

Isn't that kind of why we play here? I mean most of us are here exactly because of things like the leveling process being long and unforgiving. Live has ruined itself by eliminating 'problems' like this. I am not in favor of trying to eliminate powerleveling, don't get me wrong, but anyone who feels like you seem to might want to reconsider what game they're playing.

I sympathize with folks that there are stages of the game that aren't as much fun to play as others and they'd prefer to just rush through those.

But I encourage people to just be more creative about it all. If you have the plat to powerlevel, why not just research/experiment hunting in different areas or ways? This is limited by class since you can only twink certain classes so much, but...Paying someone else to essentially rush you through part of the game always felt like it diminished the value of the experience.

Now if you have guildies who will powerlevel your shaman from like 14 to 34, I completely understand. Those levels are f-ing annoying as a shaman.

I understand I'm not in your shoes as a true lowbie/noobie, but at least there are people playing on the server.

Would you rather log into a server and have your pick of camps, but no one to group with/socialize with?

Or would you rather have a vibrant community and have to deal with other folks camping/killing the same stuff you intended to?

It's funny, but this "issue" could not possibly be any more "classic."

I doubt they did this if there was a true disruption to the zone. If they're powerleveling in a section of the zone and there's plenty of mobs still open for you and whomever, they shouldn't have to stop and give you their little section.
