possible to play P99 and live?
I did some searches and couldnt find anything.
Is it possible to play on P99 and live (not at the same time of course). Im sure it is with two different EQ folders, one with P99 set up and one with live. | ||

Yes it is!
I don't know how but I have both of them on my computer separately. I guess I'm not much help. BUT YES, YOU CAN.

Yep. You set it up in two different folders. It's exactly the same thing as what you had to do to play on Test in EQ and WoW. Set up a different folder, name it P99, and have all P99 files in there.

You would need separate folders, as there are some zone files on Live that are not "classic" (lavastorm, oasis, nektulos). But yes, you can have both on the same computer at once. Really, the only thing outside of some zone files that is different is the eqhost.txt file that points to the correct login server, and the -patchme extension put on the shortcut to bypass the patcher.
