I was making some progress when I discovered that particle effects aren't attached to objects beyond character models. I would have to make a static image of a fire sprite and patch it in as a new or replacement item id or if Haynar can use a shadowman character model with an item then perhaps it would look classic.

Telin, I've noticed significant improvement in the spell effects since I started playing on p99. EQ spell effects have always been my favorite, uber alles, so I commend you for your work!
