It really sounds like you've only ever picked up ONE history book in your life. Your post literally oozes that Zinn historical narrative and nothing else... I feel mildly sad for you, I'm sorry to say, though you aren't the only one here who sounds like a faithful Zinn disciple. There is hope for you all. Try broadening your horizons a little. Pick up some other books and open your minds -- I promise it's worth it.
