Awesome. Long days with family with the glimmer of hope that I could at least relax and play EQ a bit when it was over. I don't even want Velious and dread its release. Oh well, gotta break the habit somehow.

Greetings Norrathians!
Is it comepletely outrages to think that people playing here acctually just love playing good old EverQuest Classic (+ Kunark)..? Hell, I love the true EQ Classic (Vanilla if you like) with no Kunark. Is it not the essence of the ”Project” - a dream of playing EverQuest while it was cool and just keep it at that? Some side questions just out of curiosity: Will Project1999 haft to change name now..? Will it stop with Velious or is the plan to try make some kind of dejavuu and try recreate Sony's work by dumbing EQ down one expansion at the time? There will come a time where someone gets bored with Velious and scream for SoL, PoP, GoD ect. ect.. Hell, maybe Project1999 can even catch up with Sony and make some sort of weird parallel server to current Live EQ with 25+ expansions. Ohh and someday some cool nostalgy people (like I really think you the staff of this project is) can make a Project1999ofProject1999 :-) These are just the first questions that came to my mind with this forced beta thing and as I hate being forced to anything here in life that made me make my first post on this forum. No hateing just a lot of questions that came to my mind! :-) And Im just not convinced that it is acctually ALL, that some claime, that wants Velious. Peace out and I will keep loving and donating to the Project1999, but while you all rush to Velious I enjoy my beloved Norrath with no Lizards expect those in Lost Temple of Cazic Thule :-) PS: If I can just share one wish, please never ever repeat Sony's biggest mistake of all and start revamping old zones! :-D | ||

He gives me options for beta buff, list of quest items, and faction. I repeatedly try several of the required responses he expects of me to perform his duties. NOTHING HAPPENS. I am Ginsing and i am logging back in to bang my head against his knees if anyone wants to help... | ||

The beta buff turned me into a gnome. A GNOME.
I am normally a dark elf that goes around and bites gnomes. This is karma at its worst. I AM NOT PLEASED WITH THIS OUTCOME :P On the other hand, I do have my duckstick and some pretty nice gear, so at least I got that going for me, which is nice. This should be fun.
