The second you post negative comments towards blue and its community and passive aggressive comments/back handed insults it turns people away and it just turns in to a red v blue post. If you actually want to recruit people and aren't just here to troll, focus on the positive of red rather than the negative of blue and people will me much more receptive. Trust me.

This x 10. I don't know why, but for some reason each red recruitment thread either starts off with, or soon becomes a blue bash thread just because blues don't prefer red. All you red recruitment bros need to lay off the insults and passive aggressive comments and maybe you'll get half the server pop you wish for.

I also noticed Swish is a huge fan of passive aggressive bashes of bluebies, while trying to sound like he is nice and understanding. Maybe pick a new consul to do red propaganda?

This is actually correct, and some of you may have noticed your posts getting deleted in red threads that i make where you start getting caustic with bluebies. We should be putting our best foot forward in red recruit posts over on the general server chat, which means showing the blue server we are above being trolled and insulted - by ignoring these trolls we take away the only affect they can have on our progression. I already remove and/or GM forum-quest obliterate any post that's really worth responding to anyway.

Since when did the Red server give any fucks about what some blue welfare pixel pusher had to say about red or it's players anyway? Show everyone we're better by not showing them anything at all - the next time a troll posts against red, glance right over it and keep on moving. Pretty soon their ineffectual jabs will land them in a world of frustration where they cross that line and get forum hammered by me.

Is this generally from people trying out red and sticking with it? or is the entire p99 population just increasing? I'd like to know this personally.

It will happen Derubael; a lot of people play red99 for the raiding scene too and what some of the more vocal "pvpers" don't see is that its fine to do that.

There are actually some people who think red99 is a 100% PvP server....But you'll find they whine and moan about the lack of PvP but don't put actual efforts in to creating PvP opportunities apart from small skirmishes.
Infact...I think there are quite a few too many people who just want; want; want; want...but don't put effort in to cultivating the health of the server.

The greatest thing that could happen on this server is a another 100 steady players; then you'll see great PvP health and raid health especially leading in to velious. But you need to cultivate this to happen.

It's simple math really: give people a chance and they will reward you.





P.s the thing I never understand about the other team is they claim they want server health, and PvP health, but give nothing back to help promote this.... and as you can clearly see when that team was removed from their position of power by the server banding together to cast them off; the health of the server starts to grow.

Again: simple math.
