Lets get real, Derubel posting and saying don't bitch about posts and try it, well that's not going to work. It does not help the cause. Most blues say pure propaganda and walk away.

Try posting the advertisement, and ignore the negative.
Do not fall into the "well blue sucks, and on red you can kill xyz if they take your camp." Does not help the cause.

Usually once a negative comment is thrown, the bad stuff happens, ignore it.
Present your case for what rocks about red, show the benefit, offer help, PM me brochaco etc and that's it.

Blue is blue for a reason, grief is not fun, and when chat goes bad, that is the perception you will glue to the server.

Give them a reason to hang and check it out.
When the thread turns into a shit storm, you turn off people to the idea, as they think, yah this is what I will deal with.

I would argue that, having a toon on red, its ok.
If you are going to argue for moves, make it positive.
Generally that is not the case, I believe there is a certain element on red that wants no part in increasing the population. Thus the trolls.

Attitudes on both sides are the worst.

The second you post negative comments towards blue and its community and passive aggressive comments/back handed insults it turns people away and it just turns in to a red v blue post. If you actually want to recruit people and aren't just here to troll, focus on the positive of red rather than the negative of blue and people will me much more receptive. Trust me.
