Hi, I played EQ a long time ago. If I recall correctly I started at the velious expansion. Just found this place and so far I am loving it and all the memories it is bringing back. I am hoping I can get back into it but the much smaller population here compared to live makes the place seem a lot emptier so I guess I am looking to find other people to group with, level, do quests etc.. Any suggestions?

Just play the game and level up. Once you get to areas like kurns tower, unrest, mistmoore etc you will start to see alot more players.

Gfay, Cruchbone, Unrest and Mistmoore is packed and to be honest most of the time there is a shortage of mobs. Try rolling something on Faydwer and you'll be surrounded by likeminded people.

Higher up is CoM, KC, and Seb. So if you follow that route there will pretty much be groups there all the time. And Add Oasis of Marr, not far from EC Tunnel to get buffs, on there also from like level 12 to 21 and even higher if you do the Specs on the Island and Sand Giants.
