Well, to look on the bright side of things... When they change major events/plots specifically for the show, at least it brings back some element of surprise to those of us who read the books repeatedly (as we literally wait years for new books to be released [You must be logged in to view images. It's refreshing to not always know what's gonna happen next in the show, imo.
