I have to agree with Farzo... If Azrael disbanded or didn't play after Nihilum fell, you would still have Smoke Break (Blaze)/Hokuten as active guilds. God's Work would have probably stepped it up in the raiding scene, while Holo kept to 25 players like they promised. Box would be awesome and the 4 factions would pvp without being a bunch of douchebags about getting Y/Ted cos were more or less all pals and there is no major cross-guild hatred like there is with Azrael...

Sadly the P1999 utopia never occurred... it's ok, we still have Holo, the R99 white knights and their allies who exist to stomp down the tyrannical Azrael so that new prosperous guilds can grow from the ashes!

You don't get rid of 1 so-called RMTer to give free reign to another RMTer(Lite) who plays R99 like a second job and has personal affiliations with Platlord's right hand man (Xylaw).

Shits just stupid at that point, so Holocaust stepped it up and tore the new RMT empire down.

Jib - Disbanded Hokuten and took his pals for Ezy pixel trains in the new Azrael Zerg.

Blaze leaders - Disbanded Blaze, who was constantly curb stomped by Azrael and Holocaust. The last straw was being kicked out of PoF by Azrael during a triple repop week because Azrael didn't want to let 1 CT slide. Blaze guild members stopped logging in for guild raids and was effectively absorbed into Holo after disbanding.

God's Work - effectively allied with Holo to see Azrael crushed into the ground because all members passionately believe Azrael is a toxic guild with more double standards than any other guild on R99.

All wrong. Jib quit and nobody wanted to run Hokuten. A lot of those brave souls are now in eternal light. Holocaust broke blaze up and absorbed them because blaze couldn't run a raid to save their lives. God's work were pariahs. Last holo first came out as the guys that want to keep it to a total roster of 25 and didn't have a need for loot. I'm sure that if azrael knew that they'd go against everything that they said, they would have done more to keep them from absorbing every guild and noob possible like a cancer.

Also this whole "we're going to split up when Azrael disbands" stuff is bull shit. I called it a long time ago that holocaust will just use the velious around the corner excuse to hold onto 55% of the server pop in their ranks.

Might as well turn off the lights or disable the pvp function in a couple months.

I don't think that you understand that holocaust is basically doing what nihilum did. Azrael may take breaks, but they'll always be around and it's being used as an excuse to 180 on holocaust's initial mission and zerg it up.

The point being that some of their core members use any means possible to get an edge in fights, even if it's illegal.

Sometimes it's inevitable. But making it a necessity?
