I'm a bit late to the party, but I gotta ask; having never played a hybrid myself...A pally has X exp penalty for being a hybrid class. How does that paladin's personal exp penalty in some way slow the group's exp as a whole?

What am I missing?

In a group of all lvl 40s has a paladin in it, it's treated as if the paladin is lvl ~44

When I play a Healer class, Cleric, Shaman I HATE Rangers. They always have agro on them and it is hard to get it off them. So they end up being a damn mana drain to healers as they are a paper tank compared to a Warrior.

Very overrated imo. Only really super useful if you plan on going for super hard solo fights. Solo artist challenge type stuff. For every day soloing not that big of a deal. Also I don't solo very much I spend way more time duoing and I find the regen significantly more useful even after Torpor.

If a non-tanking, non-pulling Ranger needs direct heals more than once or twice during a grind session, they are doing it wrong. If I am not tanking or pulling, I absolutely HATE to get direct healed, it means I failed. Toss me a hot occasionally and I'll take care of the rest. Learn 2 aggrocontrol. Root and backoff if you have to. It'll make the war think he's being awesome at aggro.
