Can a single person claim the entire fort? I've been trying to get a shrunken goblin earring for my main char for over a week now and somebody is ALWAYS here and claiming the entire fort and if I kill anything I get bitched at.

100% correct.

The extreme rarity of Grachnist dropping the earring has been well documented. Given the fact that you can pick one up for no more than 2.5k right now in EC, I don't know why anyone wastes time at the WW fort.
