Except for the part where shamans kill those 4 mobs about 2-3x as fast as a druid running in circles for 10 minutes with 3 mobs trying to find a 4th. There's no stall time shamans are immediately killing whatever they pull.
Quadders are lame. Sorry.

If they delay that long yes.
Or they can just kill their 3 in a third the time it takes a shaman to root rot one.
Or people can realize quadders gonna quad and you're best to let them get their fourth and allow them to med for 10min while you kill mobs.
