Back on live, it was against the rules to even share your account at all. We're more lenient here
Banning account sharing here sure would be interesting. No more trackers/mages. . .

To be perfectly honest, we've had it suggested many times that in situations like these we just leave the accounts in question banned - something that is supported by server administration.
I am definitely one of those people who would suggest it, as long as it isn't an ex post facto thing. "Every time we ban an RMTer we permanently ban any accounts they logged into after Oct 8th. No appeals; get fucked." would be awesome as hell. The biggest advantage: it would give guilds a huge incentive to police RMT or lose their track/coh bots (Chest was obviously falling down on the job there).

Guys like Nordenwatch and Culprit aren't all that hard to see coming IMO. We should just ban all Canadians with more than 1M pp in the bank.

Banning everything and sorting it through later is the only way to do this for larger operations. Back on live, it was against the rules to even share your account at all. We're more lenient here, but the bottom line is that when you guys share your account info you are taking a risk that something like this might happen.
Anyway to limit the number of password changes to help prevent sharing or at the least make it extremely risky?

Create account, allow 1-2 password changes, if people pass it out after changing the password they pretty much risk it being exposed forever.

that doesn't sound like a good thing for people to be UNABLE to change their password to REMOVE access others may have... Seems 100% ass backwards actually.
