Derubael just gave me the same response in the petition thread, first ignored me asking why Gongshow got a name change then said that the only way I could get a name change is by RMT'ing then giving myself into the GM's along with the person who bought or sold to me.

Also puzzling that he seems to be implying I couldn't possibly get someone else banned for RMT'ing unless I was involved myself.

I didn't change gongshows name, you'd have to ask Sirken what the circumstances were surrounding his request and eventual renaming.

Can't tell if the second part of your post is a troll, or if you really dont understand why this was posted in response to far too many cries of, "but sektors got one!! I deserve one too!"

We don't do name changes anymore, lets accept this and move on.

Also, I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone who references Sektors getting some awesome deal because we love him so much. I'll give you the same deal!

All you have to do is hand us an RMTing guild leader of one of the largest guilds on either server on a silver platter, gift wrapped in a handy 3 minute video detailing everything we need to take him down.

Then, after outing yourself as an RMTer to the entire community, I get to ban every account you've ever logged into, even a single time. I also get to include the one toon you bargained amnesty for in exchange for the above mentioned RMTing guild leader. Let me repeat that so I'm clear: you snitch for me, and I ban everything, even the account I told you you could keep in exchange for this information.

Two months later when you're finally able to remind me that I fucked you in all holes after you gift wrapped one of the biggest bans in Red99 history, and that our original agreement had been amnesty for a single account.

The one thats been banned for two-months. The only one you were supposed to keep and have access to this entire time. I slap my forehead and say,

'I'm sorry, I wasn't even thinking when we did all your account bans. We populated the list with every account ID you'd ever logged into a single time and didn't crosscheck to see what we were hitting. Here's your warrior back, along with the name change you were promised in exchange for your services as my snitch. And by the way, I've reset your warrior epic progress to where you were before you RMT'd that green scale from your former guild leader. Good luck in the future!' And then you thank me even though I completely fucked you over in every way possible, and you would probably rather spit in my face.

But you can't. Cause then you'd lose your warrior again.

So. Does anyone else want the super awesome derupal snitch namechange account unban deal? If so, I'd be happy to get started right away!

Hoping this is a sign that there's more to come. It's pretty shitty when a small handful of players get to essentially ruin the box for new players. I'm all for pvp twinks -- the ones who aren't griefers, the ones with interesting gimmicks, etc. Survival is a good example of a PVP twink with a unique and interesting RP gimmick played right. I don't even need to list the bad ones, you all know them. Players who know the rules shouldn't be trying to rules lawyer level 8 first toons in OOC on their loot and scoots, they shouldn't be bind camping people in rags, and they shouldn't be intentionally training PVE deaths. All of the players doing this know better than that, and it's sad how many hours they put into shitting up the server. That shit is *not* PVP and it isn't making the server better for anyone. The sad part is how much these players brag about their YT's, but the second they come up against a toon in their league, they're definitely plugging like a bitch..
