The one thats been banned for two-months. The only one you were supposed to keep and have access to this entire time. I slap my forehead and say,

'I'm sorry, I wasn't even thinking when we did all your account bans. We populated the list with every account ID you'd ever logged into a single time and didn't crosscheck to see what we were hitting. Here's your warrior back, along with the name change you were promised in exchange for your services as my snitch. And by the way, I've reset your warrior epic progress to where you were before you RMT'd that green scale from your former guild leader. Good luck in the future!' And then you thank me even though I completely fucked you over in every way possible, and you would probably rather spit in my face.

But you can't. Cause then you'd lose your warrior again.

So. Does anyone else want the super awesome derupal snitch namechange account unban deal? If so, I'd be happy to get started right away!

Oh, as a side note, this is the only time I've ever screwed over a deal I made with a snitch. Once the promise of information in exchange for amnesty is made, you're safe. Players only enter the "witness protection program" if they end up outing themselves in the process of providing the promised info. After they enter the program, it's up to them to keep quiet about it - if you end up with everyone knowing who you are after the name change because you were too overt with your actions, you're on your own. There's no such thing as a second protection assignment, unless you have more to offer.

This tactic gets used on blue far more than on Red, simply because I'm more interested in the Blue RMT market than the Red one (make no mistake, red still gets tracked, but when blue pushes 100x the net dollar amount through the system in any given month... they become the more important target). But Sektors is definitely not the first person to provide major community-breaking information in exchange for account protection during the subsequent ban wave. I don't want to give the impression it's standard procedure to break an agreement made in exchange for information or other services to help track "priority violaters" (IE: rmt occurring in a guilds leadership, TPP distributors, RMT kingpin or ring information, etc.)

The only reason it happened to Sektor was because he drew the ire of another staff member who came to me requesting we expidite the one-two Sektor_azrael/nizzar_nihilum RMT punch, and in the haste to get everything wrapped and on the table, his amnesty was forgotten for months.

Oh, and the icing to this entire fiasco is that the person who snitched to cause the Sektor RMT bans that came before the Nizzar RMT ones was.... Nizzar. I <3 you guys.

Can we do a BOTB event where all banned players are reinstated with a chance to win their freedom in the arena?

Would be a big primetime ratings boost imo.

^We have some never before seen BoTB style events planned for the near future you gyus are going to go crazy for. It will dwarf all other P99 pvp related events in size and scope, and come close to rivaling even the largest combined server events on Live. This is still a ways away, but the wait shouldn't be too painful - we still have BoTB events to wrap up on both servers and tide everyone over before this epic, one-time only event.

Some people will inevitably slip through the cracks - if you have relevant info, post all of it up in the petition forum or PM it to my inbox. Sometimes it's enough, sometimes it's not (I have to corroborate all sales on our end for bans done by player provided information.) Regardless, if it doesn't enter one of those two places, I don't even look at it - there are too many accusations spread over too many forum threads, often with no pertinent info, for me to pursue every-one. But if it enters my PM box or the petition forum it eventually gets investigated to the best of my abilty

I'm off, please direct future references of our love, favortism, and korruption for Sektor name changes to this thread, so that these people may take advantage of our special one-time offer of the complete destruction of your virgin anus in exchange for useful information. Derubael just gave me the same response in the petition thread, first ignored me asking why Gongshow got a name change then said that the only way I could get a name change is by RMT'ing then giving myself into the GM's along with the person who bought or sold to me.

Also puzzling that he seems to be implying I couldn't possibly get someone else banned for RMT'ing unless I was involved myself.
