Omg! I was thinking the same thing the other day. Everytime I see the Infiniti Q50 commerical where the guy is such a god damned road hazard, so vain in his inner monologue that he can't even focus on driving his own car. If he was driving a Metro he'd be dead right now, maybe even taking out a few cyclists. Get off the road pretty boy!

Eh.

I guess at least a car that can brake itself is helping the poor schmuck who was about to get blasted from behind by a terrible driver.

Still can't get over the feeling that we're getting close to cars doing too much of the driving themselves, and that eventually it will be a bad thing. /shrug

Self-driving cars are inevitable, and not even on account of the safety improvements they might offer. Consumers have decided already that they'd rather bury their noses in their devices than do pretty much anything else, including driving. In twenty years, I'd bet most cars won't even have steering wheels.
