Rapid expansion and urban restoration in my area, what can I say? Sorry the only hospitable areas of your country are on the coast? Don't know why this is so hard for you to believe...

The Australian mainland has a total coastline length of 35,876 km (22,292 mi) with an additional 23,859 km (14,825 mi) of island coastlines.

We only have a population of ~25 million...

Just let that sink in...
