Why should we censor a perfectly good word for a bundle of sticks, just because a bunch of homophobes mis-use it? Because like it or not, those homophobes have changed the meaning of the word.

But at the end of the day though, who cares? Let the dictionary say what it wants, we can use words however we want right? Sure, but the only problem with that is that language is based on consensus, and if you don't adhere to that consensus, you risk miscomunicating. In this case, the miscomunication you're risking is people thinking that you condone naming a guild after the heinous murderers of 6 million people.
TLDR;
So, whatever your views on language, do you really want people misunderstanding that P99 supports the celebration of 6 million people's deaths? That's the only question that matters, not what the word used to mean, or what it means to you personally.
