You know, regardless of which side of the line you stand on, you're pretty much all the same on an individual level. Everyone thinks they are the good guys, and because the "bad guys" did this and that to you, it justifies whatever cruelty and immaturity you see fit.

If you fight fire with fire, everything gets burned. I know emus attract the creme de la creme of the obsessives and eccentrics but you make us all look like douchebags. EQ doesn't make you tough, it's a mmo. The baddest mother fucker on the short bus is still on the short bus.

This isn't the first time a guild has been disbanded, or even the first time it has happened on Red. I've seen people go from despised to loved by changing their guild tag and vice-versa.

Now this doesn't apply to everyone, but it does to most of the loudest people. Chewie is a good example. He is a dick, but he told you he was and never pretended not to be. For him you either have Flowers under your name or flowers on your coffin.

It is amusing though because this is probably the weakest reason I have ever seen a guild disbanded for.

The first statement may be true. I was not here when that happened.

If I formed a new guild and dominated again Derubael would find some excuse to break it up again. He has made that clear.

Not going to put tons of time into something with such a person in a position of power. Once Derubael leaves staff I might consider coming back and bringing my 30 friends back. Until then there are many other games to play.

Don't really care if there's a Nihilum or not to be honest, frankly I like a good number of them.

Threatening to not play until a GM is removed doesn't mean much. Nihilum choked the life out of any competition, far beyond PvP. Corpse camping for hours or days just for attempting trak? With that gone even if all 30 players quit, and they won't, there's at least 30 more players that will take their place.

And why was the game ruined for so many people? Apparently so Nizzar could pay his bills?
