I think the way it should work is as this example would show, keep in mind the counters shown are chosen at random I have no idea what the counters actually should be. Example is of a buff stack from 1st slot to last slot.
See invs - 2 counters Jboots - 2 counters Illusion Skeleton - 2 counters Heroism - 10 counters Shield of Flame - 2 counters Say you cast Nullify Magic from a pumice on that buff stack, Nullify Magic is say 8 counters (not certain what it actually is). This dispel would remove See invs, Jboots, Illusion Skeleton, SKIP Heroism because it currently has 4 power and cannot remove that, go to Shield of Flame and remove it, and have 2 counters remaining. Whether those 2 counters go to weakening the heroism counters or not, I don't know. Probably not because I doubt there is code to keep knowledge of counters on current buffs between zones etc. Random buff removal would be a terrible addition to pvp, it should be skill based not random. Having boss encounters who were random fine, but make sure you can prove that they were random, and not just part of this system where it APPEARED to be random because it skipped a buff. | ||
