Here they actually got a better shot but on live with knockbacks the way they were a wiz with well time sol's and crim pots pretty much make a mess out of even the best enchanters.

Even with out shield they are still good in mass pvp. Shield makes them small scale pvp skirmish gods

or don't get vexing/bond up then harmshield at the right time with their buried dots (if poss) ticking... with pet on them..

Watched Kringe kill ppl on his necro np all the way up to 50 really.

their go-to strategy is to chain cast splurt while i'm beating them down and then reroll a different class out of frustration

Only a certain % of zones have viable mobs for charming. If I'm engaging the enchanter in TT @ pained soul for example, his green con mob is going to be more of a hinder to him as it deals minimal damage and breaks any raptures he lands. So ya, outside of me fighting as a melee vs a chanter with charm bok knight in Seb, most of the time 1v1 it will be a non factor. Of course there's always awful players such as Moru on his SK who I soloed 1v1 with an enchanter animation.
