Ya here's the dif pal. You don't see Christian communities in 2014 stoning people who are cursing their parents in the public square. You do however see millions of Muslims in countries with Shariah law who do just that, with the full authority and weight of their government behind them.

definitely have no interest in making this a protracted biblical debate here, particularly because many of these are stories / allegories, etc. But you do realize the third quote is the famous binding of Issac where the entire point was that God didn't actually want him to do it? The second quote is about Amalek a nation [factual or not] at least within the Biblical narrative who performed a "sneak attack" on the Jews.

I think you might just not give a fuck about what the truth is, youve got your idea made up, probably the same ideas rolling around in your social circle and its easier to just do the same thing everybody else does and not be a black sheep.

Here's the difference. Other than perhaps the .01% of extremists, the majority of Jews I know would actually support a two state solution, would support Israeli Arabs, etc., if they weren't hell bent on exterminating every last Jew and foreigner. On the flip side, it is the stated goal of Hamas [who rules Gaza] to wipe Israel off the map and be part of the global Caliphate. How do you make peace with someone like that? Israel is a SECULAR country.
