You don't need someone like Nizzar to lead an MMO guild. The vast majority of my guild leaders in MMO's have been normal human beings with 9-5 jobs. Only on red99 does playing 24/7 somehow become a necessity, because people take the game incredibly too serious to the extent of intentionally training dragons to prevent other people from getting their loot.

What i meant by someone like him but not an asshole is someone with leadership skills that knows the game but doesnt get a kick out of shitting on people because he knows alternatives are next to none and if they dont like it the door is right there, warm bodies lined up to take your place. That would give a chance for the opposition to pile up numbers and contest nihilum at some point.

All u need is a working system to lead a guild, not a perfect mind free of ego to rule them all, u need to work on egos, more minds think better than 1, we all here want to get loot to be competitive at pvp and get some good fights, i dont get why you all guys are playing on a pvp server. Things could be so easy to fix, on the staff side and also on the playerbase side. As a newcomer i already love what jibekin tried to do, and now i see him on forums claiming a 3rd guild needs to step up since he already got enough numbers for every encounter, man...what is nihilum doing? go play blue, stop supporting an rmt scheme, why u think u didnt went over PD this las repop? come on... either the staff or the playerbase need to do someting ASAP.

I played eve, i mean something like rally the troops. They dont have to wear the same guild tag. How many times did i see "guilds" in eve form up temporary alliances to gang up on bigger targets. Lots of times. Just seems here people in leadership position dont have the maturity to do this with egos flying high about some low pop elf sim emu. HB and Nizzar the only ones i can think of that have that from my experience. When Lite saw that RD made an agreement with Nihilum so that we could get people like Thresh their epics, the diplomatic thing to do if your long term goal is to destroy Nihilum isnt to start griefing new blood in RD who are still leveling up. Abysal would do the same sort of shit and its part of why Nihilum is being successful.

I agree on the more minds are better, which is why i disliked Lite's (at least thats how he used to proceed) way of doing things of unilaterally deciding something without getting the pulse from his people see if they had any input he should be thinking about. Again i liked HB's style of leadership the most on this, he was the most diplomatic leader ive ran across on my days on the box.

If i were leading the top guild on a pvp server i would support the underdog guilds to present some competition, heck, i would be on forums giving my opinion and working with the community. Dont tell me nizzar is somewhere a good leader when server is working like it is because of nihlum way of exploiting a flawed end game system the staff dont want to fix because "its up to us the community", nizzar could be one of the most influencial persons here, for the staff and for the community, where is he? why doesnt he want to to sit here with everyone and debate the future of the server? full of shit.

See, i quit the game for now. I joined Nihilum recently because I needed something to do and got bored in a hurry when Nizzar started doing his tantrum thing.

Lite would probably never take me in again, neither would Jib because ive got that Nihilum taint, they take this emu way too fucking seriously.

Id be happy to join the opposition again maybe when Velious hits, probably not under Lite's wing but somewhere, and youd have people like Jib unable to view things long term and grief people whove been remotely associated with Nihilum in the past. Just all around immature. Thats a big problem here. Unable to get people like Colgate to respect a call that for now, you dont attack this or that person, for a bigger goal. In darkfall wed have to review who were our allies for every siege and if you went out, did your own thing and started attacking this or that temporary alliance guild youd get ganked by your own guild.

In Jib's defense on that one he has that agreement with me and my entire guild(even though it's only like 10 of us and we barely play now) If I see Hotuken fighting Nihilum we immediately back up Hotuken. But when not engaged with Nihilum Hotuken are fair game.

I've saved many Hotuken from certain Nihilum death, and killed many Hotuken as well. But I've never broken the cardinal rule and joined the cheaters team.

Sad thing is the staff doesnt give a fuck, if u really think there aint more potential new players who could help with server population i dont get what ure doing. Im a big fan of mmorpgs, been playing since i was 16, from eq to eso, i loged everyday on mmorpg.com for news etc even during long periods without playing any game, i was always reticent of emulator servers etc so i never bothered, but with eq it makes a lot of sense, u cant play THIS eq on live servers, i never heard of that eqmac thing untill now but it seems to have been very popular...there are LOTS of players like me who would come, with the right advertising and a functional server. Staff is dumb if they dont see that or they just dont give a fuck. FIX THE SEVER PLZ give it some more advertising on different communities etc and youll see ur server working with 600+ for years. : (( im sad.

Well i mean, hes winning the box. Does he have the servers best interest at heart, no. Seriously the main part of the blame to put about Nihilum's position isnt on Nihilum, its the staff who didnt react fast enough when it was clear that letting Nihilum sit unchallenged in raid zones for a year+ was gonna lead to this.

It led to alot of people to jump boat with them just for the sake of doing something (like experiencing end game content you never saw on live), it led to making it extra hard to try to come up with something against Nihilum with the dices being loaded in Nihilums favor because of server mechanics (xp loss in pvp during like the first 2 years). Lite does get points for that, for having tried to do his own thing.

But if it wouldnt have been Nizzar and Nihilum, it would have been some other guild.
