Is this a shocker when the leader of the top guild since day 1 is a convicted RMTer selling raid loot for real life money and mtg tickets? A guy who encouraged people to post others facebooks, RL photos, allowed someone back into the guild (tehruoh) in exchange for mellowyellows info, allowed kaylea to get robe of the spring in exchange for nude pics, encouraged training the competition and did so himself, encouraged the exploitation of game mechanics, and fosters this culture throughout the guild, bat phones the guild 24/7 to shut down lowbie sky raids, etc.? The fact this is allowed to continue is 100% on the staff, and the guild members who are complacent in allowing it to continue. God bless vaporize he tried to crack down on it but he has been vetoed repeatedly as of late as it's "business as usual" again.

I support a wipe, but Deru. is right. Having a wipe at this point would be pointless, all the BS would just transfer over to the new server and in 6 months time we'd be right back in the same boat.

The problem with emulated servers is always going to be a lack of full time paid CSR's. They are volunteers and dont have the amount of free time required to manage a server. Sure you can ban accounts and what not, but since its free they just reroll.

I'd love a wipe, but thats just because I'd like to see a fresh server, I know for a fact it wouldn't solve any long term problems.

While I agree that the community policing itself would make a HUGE difference, HB's comment begs the question, what should be done if the community is incapable of policing itself?
