All jokes aside, again let me reiterate. If you think this box will be the be all end of all Classic Everquest with every moss snake spawn point in Norrath correctly identified, and every gnoll pathing exactly like they pathed in 1999 then no, you're not going to have a good time. If on the other hand you're looking for fun PVP on a fresh server that's 80% classic with some bugs that will be worked on as reported, with classic resists, an EXP bonus but not instant 60, no hybrid exp penalty, some of the quality of life implementations that came in later, etc., then I think you can have a great time.

Look @ LOZ. Tons of bugs, [more than I'd hope for], not even remotely classic, and yet under one iteration was incredibly popular and would still be popular if not for some terrible dev decisions.

A fun pvp server designed by a blue player who even with the best gear can't pvp without a fully charged soulfire and trak tooth...

sounds good. You just finance a reputable member of the community and he directs the project with you having influence over it's direction, but you must maintain 0 administrative privileges. You'll get the box you want, with the stability you provide it with, and noone will be worried about their characters being deleted , stripped, or the server switch being toggled off anytime someone looks at you the wrong way. Shit, even I might play on that box.
