On the flip side, ahungry is an excellent example of added value: without creating any more work for anyone, without anything to manually maintain/sign up for/etc, he has given us a near real time way to look at EC w/o having to be in EC. Your designer was correct, keep it simple stupid. You are reinventing the wheel, no offense.

Searching for items on the forums does not work nearly as well. You get a list of threads, and sometimes they are for PVP server or not even really related to the item you are looking for. The search functionality is what makes this nice.

The ahungry tracker works well for seeing what's been auctioned in the last few weeks or so, but that still doesn't work super well, as you can't message the person selling or buying an item if they auctioned in EC a week ago.

I think this site finds a niche in its ability to fill the gaps in all the other selling/buying places. However, unfortunately, it isn't as widely used.
