and what about the TMO/IB agreement for VP that breaks raid rules, but gets overlooked because the players have agreed to overlook the violations?
For one thing, VP is class C only. We (tmo and IB) were told we could make up whatever rules we want for these mobs. If we want to go back to full no CSR-training in vp allowed, we can do that. If we want full rotations, we can do that. If we want FTEers logged in at spawns spamming we can do that too. HOWEVER, we chose none of these things.

Instead, the current rules are, in my own words: the only person allowed past the zone in when a dragon spawns, is a ranger tracker. Pullers must start on the blue zone in pad and race from there. Nobody off the pad can FTE. Anyone camped past zone in cannot log in to help when a dragon spawns. These are all within the server rules. Right now VP is simply a race from the zone in, just like everything outside VP is intended to be, under the new rules.

I don't know what you heard, but these are the facts.

class R cant even send a few people to help another class R guild without getting suspended despite both guilds involved being in agreement that this was an acceptable action.
I don't know or care about this. It's a class R matter which we have no say in, and nothing to do with. Why even bring it up?

When mobs are rotated they require different rules I guess.

If a guild needs help to kill a mob, should they even be on the rotation for it? It just makes the stronger class R guilds have to wait longer, even though they are more deserving in terms of numbers and resources. It's not a double standard. It's a necessary difference in the two classes based on the rules that you've chosen. And it's for the benefit of the other guilds in the rotation.

If the other class R guilds want to let it slide, then that's fine I guess. Maybe the GMs don't want it to be left in the hands of people who are too forgiving for their own good. That's my take on the situation at least, as an observer.

Oh yea, I was at it. I'm talking about the very start, about 2 seconds after the first FTE on IB. Trakanon ran to ledge inexplicably before being pulled back down to flat ground. That sort of thing can really mess up an engage. Imagine if he Aoe'd right then and killed all the Coth mages.

Also, I'm not even saying you were the reason Trakanon moved to ledge. I don't know exactly why Trakanon ran to the ledge. But fighting jugs in his los is something that could have caused it. And it's one reason why guilds shouldn't be fighting jugs when Trakanon is low in window. With how unforgiving these raid rules are, you always have to play it safe and assume the worst.
Actually they did AOE us. Pulled prot on top of us with PWC. Had to yell at them to move prot coz me and the other mage got knocked down 20-25% hp. Juggs to a couple swings as well when they pulled two.
