It's a difference of play style.
Rl equivalent of tagging along with an experienced tracker to hunt for you and let you take the shot. You didn't do anything but follow the guy and do what he said, but he could have done it without you and probably faster.

Opposed to spending their 20's/30's facerolling keyboard and getting pixel mountains? What's the difference? To some people it's fun to contest the zerg, to some people it's fun to be in it. Both play the game to have fun. I don't think anyone actually loses sleep at night with visions of Nizzar dancing in their heads. It's a video game in the end, and you play it for enjoyment. They obviously enjoy being the underdog trying to fight the power or they wouldn't log in.
